oh, i thought it might work by default if the entries were output in order of priority, then when imported they would be imported in the order of priority as well just by first come first in priority..

in other words, the order would look same just because it doesn't resort them out of order..Big Grin
or at least it seems to on my machine..Smile [top of dump file gets first priority]
[tho it may just be because i created them in priority order myself]

thought it might be easy to enable that by just sorting output of dump to existing priority order.. [might have to be reversed tho]

guess i'll hammer away til i find where it's goin wrong..
your software's so good, i can't Stop it from recording! lol
will post what i find..

well, seems i've found a temp fix, setting Synchronous=full results in currently recording show to be canceled first try...Big Grin quick records also are working faster...Smile
full tells sqlite to commit all changes to disk before continuing, cuz i think before it was not, and the recording service queried and the recording was still scheduled, but only because the changes hadn't been written quite yet...

Sub, are you using all defaults when building sqlite?

i think i may know an area or two to look for things that might affect this..[system cache etc.]
leading to windows not committing data to the db file when it should..
will report back if i find the real cure...

seems like the recording service is the culprit that is busy'ing out the db..!?
it's even failing my epg updates now..if i stop rec service during updates it works fine...
it always seeems to be doing:Asking Windows to be awake for recording (oid: 1874) at 2008-10-2 23:34:30 (UTC 2008-10-3 4:34:30)
when locking db up..

any way i can turn those off? i don't use suspend...machine always on..

Can you post the recording service log showing that message? They shouldnt be causing any problem. When the recording service first starts it'll request a wake up for each recording, but this should only take a couple of seconds.

here's the logs for the last time it happened...at 16:45:45
strange thing is, it did a successful update afterward..while i was recording...lol
not sure what is causing the db to be busy tho...i notice a request for a schedule reload twice in there between things..
thanx for the help...running out of ideas here...Smile

hmmm,i can't seem to find the attachments button!?

being the geek i am, i had my flat screen running off a car battery the whole time my power was out..hehe
and a 6 inch antenna pickled up every digital channel flawlessly..lol Big Grin

here's another interesting log as now it seems it's pretty locked up as it's recording..
tried to update a 'keep #' on a show and on second attempt, locked..
funny thing one of the buttons was slightly greyed out on update dialog only on second time in.
has some different errors this time i think..

I've been trying to reproduce this again this afternoon, but with no luck.

Can you have another go at describing in detail exactly the steps you're doing?
