I applied the patch, though my problem is on the second channel scanned, physical channel 94. The patch did not find the available channels.

Channel 94 has two programs that are un-encrypted, My50 (12.1) and channel 6.1 (CW). For some time now, the scan only fnds the 12.1, but not the 6.1. By using TSreader lite, I am able to locate the PID's and make my own tuning spec for 6.1. I'll attach the log from the scan, qam.ini, and the cache.

Here are the tuning parameters that work for those channels (I just verified, after the re-scan, that I can still tune these programs):

T:94,6,1~P:3~V:49~A:52~PMT:48~PCR:49
T:94,12,1~P:4~V:33~A:36~PMT:32~PCR:33~N:>12.1 MY50

I will also include the export description from tsreaderlite for channel 94.

I suspect the problem is with Comcast, but could you take a look see if anything in GBPVR is missing this program?

Here is the PID list from TSReader. I notice that the PID's for 6.1 are listed as "unknown usage". In addition, TSReader lite only shows the image from 12.1 (program 4):

8191 MPEG-2 NULL Packet
49 Unknown usage
33 MPEG-2 Video for program 4
52 Unknown usage
36 AC-3 Audio for program 4
48 MPEG-2 PMT for program 3
0 MPEG-2 Program Assocation Table
8187 ATSC Base PID (TVCT, MGT, RT, STT)
32 MPEG-2 PMT for program 4

Its not related to the scanning issue discussed in this thread up to here.

I can see its finding the channel, but for whatever reason its unable to identify the audio/video PIDs for the channel. You could try enabling the 'ignore PMT CRC errors during scan' checkbox in the 'bda advanced settings'.

Nope, still missing 6.1 in the scan. I set both the ignore during scan and ignore always. No apparent effect.

Would it help to send you a full TS?

OK. I grabbed a few short ones, but only 50MB. I'll try again, then send you a link...

I posted about 200MB at http://www.ncffafunfly.org/gbpvr/Lost.ts

Let me know when you get it successfully so I can delete it.

Thanks

Were you able to determine what might be wrong in my stream? Were you able to download it?

Thanks

Can you see if the attached patch resolves the issue?

Great. I'm fairly sure it'll help other users with scanning issues too (even in the DVB parts of the world). The sample file you provided showed a scenario on the transport stream that I wasnt aware was possible, and after reading the appropriate sections of the spec several times over, I eventually worked out what was going on and was able to build in support for it.
