Music plugin support thread

AAAwrapper launches cover art downloader. This should not happen, it should only start in one instance. But you can disable the function in the file music.xml

Thanks MixMan, I'll take a look at the file and disable that function. We typically play music via an MVP, so perhaps that is what is causing the multiple launches of AAAwrapper. It might interact with the app differently than using the app locally.

For some reasone the volume control does not work in the plugin. I just get AddAddAdd across the screen if I try and turn the volumne up.

Any idea why or what I can do to fix it?

It is the freetext seach that pick up characters your remote sends to GBPVR.
You can filter out characters not the be shown in the music.xml file.
I don't think that the remote control has anything to do with the volume. That should be a global event i PVRX2

When I try to install this, the batch installer says "Install folder not found". I tried it on both XP and Vista 64

I tried installing this but I'm getting the big red x when I try to open it. I haven't seen anything in this post or in the wiki post about it.

Have you tried it with the blue skin?
What version of gbpvr do you use?

I would guess that you need to update your skin with support for the music plugin.

1.3.7 is the version I'm trying to run it with and it's on the community skin. I didn't see any specific skin listed in the wiki to make it work I guess I'll have to take another look. It looked like it was updated to work with the current version.

I suspect you need to download and install the latest versions of CS3 AND skin plugin from the wiki. This should fix it.

I did add it in the latest update, but it may not be up to date. I have currently moved on to Community-SD (CS4) and we are a little bit off for having the skinplugin and images locked down. Maybe we might push out a development release to spot check progress so far.

The music plugin works just fine for me using the current version of CS3 from the wiki.
