Thanks sub. Is this the one you mean?
http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=2...stcount=18

After applying the fix I have this entry in the registry:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Cyberlink\Common\CLVSD\pvrx2]
"UIUseHVA"=dword:00000001
"UIVMode"=dword:00000001
"UIGamma"=dword:00000000
"UICB"=dword:00000000
"UICR"=dword:00000000
"UICON"=dword:00000000
"UISAT"=dword:00000000

And the task manager shows PVRX2.exe gobbling cpu and the sound still stutters.

Have I applied it correctly?

I'm not familiar with the specific Cyberlink decoder registry settings. I've never had to play with them myself. I remember seeing posts from others users in the past though.

That said, I'm fairly sure those registry settings referred to above are for the MPEG2 decoder, not the H.264 decoder.

Thanks sub, got the hardware acceleration working after I applied the change to:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Cyberlink\Common\cl264dec\pvrx2

Now the cpu usage has dropped from 40-80% down to around 20%.

Problem is, the sound still breaks up.
It's very consistent. About every 0.7 seconds there's a very short gap in the sound. This happens on tv1 & 2, maori tv, tvnz6, tvnz7 & tvnz sport extra. tv3, c4 & hd demo are fine.

Any ideas what else could be wrong?

Thanks,
Phil

I dont know. Its not a problem I've had. Maybe make sure you audio render is set to 'system default' if it isnt already.
