Hi Steeb,
I am aware that Sub is the master architect of this system and that he prefers to cut code and not write documentation.
I don't know the program well enough to decide my feelings about it. The fact that N-PVR is so new and not yet complete means that any decisions about feelings should be deferred until more of the program is complete.
I don't know how, when or why the GB-PVR wiki was created but I am hoping that those kind souls continue their efforts for N-PVR. I haven't spent much time in the GB-PVR wiki because I don't know what will or won't apply to N-PVR.
My usage of N-PVR at this time is limited to what options or controls I can see in the UI. I don't know any of the magic keystrokes or special settings that can be obtained by directly editing the configuration files. I have no detailed idea about the apparently wide range of additional files that can be added to the program and data directories that modify or enhance the operation of N-PVR. It is this basic information, tailored to the N-PVR program, that I believe will be most helpful to the newbies like me.
As for contributing to a wiki, I am too new to this to make any useful content creation contribution. I also don't think my written language skills are suitable for easy to follow documentation. I have been known to help proof read documents and manuals when time permits.
Regards,
Ian.
