How does N-PVR work with webadmin & mvpmcx2? some? not at all?

I don't really care about many of the plugins, but since I exclusively use my PCH-A100's for playback, scheduling etc. would I be able to upgrade & continue to access the interface from the PCH?
GBPVR v1.4.7
Windows 7 Ultimate (64-bit)
Intel Core 2 Duo 2.33 GHz
4 GB RAM, 160GB system drive
640GB recording drive
PVR-500 - analog cable stations
HDHomeRun - ASTC via antenna
nVidia GeForce 8600GT
1 PCH @ 1080p componenent (was NTSC via composite)
1 PCH @ 1080p HDMI (was component)

UJB has built an updated web admin ("NEWA") which is included with the install. It also works with mvpmcx2 from the PCH. It still has a few bugs on the PCH front, but its certainly functional enough for you to try it out and see what you think.

Congratulations for the release your new software and thanks for your hard work.
One reflection ... shouldn't the version number be 3.xx, since this is your third re-write?
I have been learning a little MySQL and PHP, so I have made an Online translation database....that can generate translation files ... for all "known" languages.
Just tell me when nPVR is ready for translations and I'll update the strings in the database.
Best Regards

Yeah, true. In hindsight I probably should have given it at least a major number increase to 2.x. Big Grin

Just call it 2.0 when it's no longer considered beta.

Yeah, thats what I was thinking of doing.

Its an entirely new app, so it almost needed a 1.0 version number, but I though that'd get far too confusing with the same versions numbers already having been used by GB-PVR.

Any i info on NPVR in a client set up; no-way? to be added? built-in and improved??? Smile
Will a mix of pvrx2 client and a NPVR server (or vice versa) work?
You mention NPVR can now be vued over RDP - is this a suggested client possability?

Sorry there is no PC client support at this stage. Behind the scenes the work has been started, but its not available yet.

You couldnt really use this for a client. Video and audio over RDP would be total crap. Being able to use over RDP is really for those people that occasionally connect from another PC to perform administrative tasks, tweaking PC settinsg etc.

I agree... it's warranted ;-)
