I renamed the database and restarted NPVR client and server. The program then created a fresh empty database. I rescanned and went through the list of channels it found from scratch. Neither BBC HD or BBC ONE HD were there. Channel 4 HD and ITV1 HD were there, so this does not appear to be some weirdness associated with HD channels.

I'm stumped...

Is it scanning the correct frequency/symbolrate/etc?

You'd need to post the npvr.log, and the details of the frequency it should find BBC HD, and I'll check it out.

Details on the current tuning are in this post forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?51781-UK-Freesat-Tuning-Information&p=442606#post442606

(Using my phone otherwise I'd have just pasted them here)

Thanks sub - see previous log posts - also and the latest logs (attached. For the frequencies, this is from imilne's code post earlier in this thread, which I used in his satellite.ini file (see earlier in this thread. Thanks again.

Can you post the log showing your attempted scan in an empty database?

That npvr.log does cover the empty database scan performed around 1557 today but here are a couple more from a bit earlier - hope this helps. Note that the log attachment from earlier in this thread includes a scan using a satellite.ini file with just one channel in it (thanks imilne), which NPVR didn't find.

I cant see any attempt to scan in those last two zip files. I can see some attempts to watch a few channels, and lots of TV Listings log messages, but no signs of a scan.

There is zero attempt to run a scan from what I can see in those logs. Stupid question, but you are going into settings and opening up the settings for one of your sat tuners and then pressing Scan?

And it would really help if you could disable the plugins (esp TV Listings) while trying to resolve this. It would reduce the clutter in the logs.
