I'm really not interested in Windows 10 and have mostly given up on and lost interest in Microsoft in general.

Gigabit wired network.

Maybe try creating a c:\temp, and set the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\NPVR DumpNetPush=1 (DWORD) Then try watching a single channel, and check whether c:\temp\dump.ts is playable. This is a dump of the unmolested data as it arrives from the device.

Also, the Ceton is a PCIe card.

When it's attempting to stream the channel, maybe bring up the Ceton web pages and check the frequency and modulation being used, then do the same thing using MCE on same channel (where you get a good picture), and check it's using the same frequency and modulation. Its possible I've got something wrong, but it is kind of managed to tune, but only delivering a broken stream.

So I added a different channel today and it appears to work well. It's possible I didn't wait for the DRI scan to finish on the first channel I entered or (more likely) there is some copy protection that WMC is able to overcome due to having PlayReady installed. I will enter all the channels over the next day or two and see how they work. I think it might be working as well as possible given the current DRM limitations.

Dear sub, after some further testing, the initial problems do appear to be related to DRM issues. I will continue to test the tuning with the Ceton card and let you know if there are any other issues. As of right now, everything appears to be working great! Thank you so much for your very quick and outstanding help. My donation to your software will be coming shortly.

I did notice your clip came from FXX, which I was surprised would be a clearQAM channel. But I believe you're saying that it works on WMC with no cablecard? Weird.
