Client Freezing watching Live TV in SD

I see the error: "Failed to write all data to ring. Argh!!!" First seen at 17:48:42.139 in stream.txt.

I've added some logging. Can you reproduce it again with this patch on the client, then post the logs again?

The issue seems to stem from a 5 second break in the data coming from the server. Are you on a wired or wireless network?

18:35:12.159 [1748] recv2 got 0 bytes after timeout (8 bytes requested)

You might need to restart the recording service on the server, then reproduce the problem again, and post these two c:\temp logs, and the server logs, so I can see what the server thinks is happening during that period.

With this patch it plays a split second of video and then freezes. Task Manager shows no network traffic (client and server are on gigabit network). Usually the client ceases to respond and the task has to be ended. Prior to this patch when the video would freeze, task manager showed traffic at the expected video bitrate.
