If you schedule a recording, do you get a file on disk? Can you play the file in NextPVR, or another player?

I wasn't able to try your channels when I loaded them in, because I saw they accessed the stream on the local machine, which made no sense to me. Did you have run some server software locally on the machine?
For example: http://localhost:62555/?plugin://plugin....yLive/2820

No, I entered the m3U http path and the xmltv http path as you noted above and the result was that black screen. As for the recording, I just now set it to record 2 different TV shows and this is the result...
Using only NextPVR desktop app and no other programs running... Recording successful on both shows as the file folder indicated size was >0. Played both shows using NextPVR desktop app and no joy, neither would play. Using NextPVR desktop app plus launching Kodi while recording 2 additional shows via desktop app...Kodi indicates shows are recording. Stopped recording after 30 min using desktop app. Neither recording playable using NextPVR. Both playable via Kodi TV-Recordings. Both playable via file explorer and WMP and Movies & TV apps. Directly recording via Kodi will not work at all. So I guess this was a successful test since I was never able to record anything. Kind of disappointed that they wouldn't play via NPVR tho. But since they are playable using other players that works for me for now. I will test more strenuous to see if it will record additional shows. Thanks again. I heard that you have something like X-NEWA so I was hoping to test that or this other X proggy but for now it looks like I can get done what I was aiming to do. Any additional suggestions?

Can you share one of those recordings with me? Let me know the download link and I'll try playing it here.
If you're getting a file, and it's playable in Kodi, then it sounds like the recording side of things is fine. I'll check your recording can play here, or if not why not.

I had already deleted those file but I did another short recording with the same results. They are now in the one drive for you to look at. Thanks.

Both those files play ok here in NextPVR. Do have LAV installed? If so, can you try setting your H264 decoder to LAV Video Decoder, and your AAC decoder to LAV Audio Decoder, and let me know if it then plays the recordings? (if not, post the logs again)

Sorry it took a while to get back on this working on this holiday crap. Newayz, I installed LAV and made the settings as u suggested (see filter set 1 & 2). It looks like only the MS codecs were being used. Unfortunately NPVR no longer will record. This morning I manually tried to record 2 shows and no joy. On the guide after clicking on the shows (TODAY show and Classic Cars), it turned red as expected meaning it is recording but it was not. I let it set for 20 minutes and nothing. Explorer also verified as 0 bytes were recorded. The 2 folders were made for the shows but no recording took place. No other programs like Kodi were running just NPVR. So I'm going to set the codes to default (MS) as that appears to allow recording. That's confusing because using LAV should not have any effect on recording, yes?
[ATTACHMENT NOT FOUND][ATTACHMENT NOT FOUND] NPVR also indicated that a recording was taking place but then 5 minutes later it showed "failed". [ATTACHMENT NOT FOUND][ATTACHMENT NOT FOUND]

Recordings don't use the codecs during the recording so you have another problem.

You need to select the decoders used on the Settings->Decoders screen. Set LAV there for the H.264 and AAC decoders. If it doesn't help, post the logs.
