I have that same problem on occasion and I can tell you what my date is: 11/11/15. (Sometime the On Demand selections work, also.)

Can you see if replacing it with this version helps? http://www.nextpvr.com/ffmpeg.zip

The replacement causes On Demand to act differently. I tried two movies and an EPL match. They all opened by playing from the On Demand screen. They appeared to be playing like a live event rather than showing up in the Recording section. However, for me they were unwatchable. Screen was broken up and smearing at least 75% of the time. Occasionally, the picture looked fine. I have no idea whether that's the IPTV service or the ffmpeg. I did check a BBC program from the tv guide screen and it opened and played just fine.

My ffmpeg was dated 11/11/15 also.
I installed the new one and it was a definite improvement; at least I could open the movies.
But as jd1940 said, the On Demand is acting weird.

I haven't had enough time yet to develop a scenario, but I think it will be much the same as his.
Keep in mind we both have the same IPTV provider, ACE-TV.

How does the EPG work with IPTV channels?
When I checked my guide this morning I only have about 20 hrs of data showing.

For my regular cable channels I have a statement in the Update.EPG file, but there's nothing there about the IPTV channels.
I'm wondering how I can get more days in the guide.

It's likely your IPTV provider is only providing 24 hours of listing or something like that.

NextPVR has no control over how many days of listings they provide - it downloads and imports all the listings from their xmltv url. The only person that could change that is the IPTV provider. Might be work checking with them - they may have an alternatively multi-day xmltv url.

Can you confirm how many days you get in your EPG?
Thanx.

The IPTV appears to be supplying only one day. I get two weeks with my regular cable channels.

I contacted ACE TV.
Using my Android box, they told me to use Perfect Player and I would get 7 days of EPG.
So far I haven't been able to make that happen yet; still only 1 day.

I thought if I could get 7 days on the Android side it might help sub figure out how to get 7 days in NPVR.

Have you downloaded their xmltv file, and taken a look in it? I'm guessing there is only a single day of data in it.
