Installing V5 impossible

I think just bundle it all up like the good ol days and let it all extract and install locally. I can't use this version and will have to go back to the old ones. Let microfoft type business do the whiz bang updates fom the internet as they have the resources to cover all scenarios. NPVR doesn't. But still a great product. Sometime simple is best even if it take a little longer.

I don't see any need to change the way we're doing install. This new method has generally been working great. Admittedly it's not working for you, but I'm sure it'll be something small...we've just got to work out what...

Install that, then try NPVRSetup.exe again. I suspect it's then going to work.

ok thanks for that, i'll installit after the 6pm news as recording it now with version 4.2.2 that seems fine.

Basically it’s saying the unzip function is missing in the version of the .net runtime you currently have installed. I’m hoping this newer version of the runtime will fix it.

Hey , that worked , welol done. But it won't scan channels. It sees my tuners but comes up with 0 channels. Brisbane

Please try "All Countries All Regions" for the scan and then post logs telling us the time that you did the scan. Thanks.

If V4 and V5 are on the same machine ... You might want to stop the NextPVR V4 Recording Service ... just in case ...

yeah it is ( The old version ) and after a reboot the version 5 didn't pickup my tuners anymore so heaps of issues but maybe contributable to having the old version running at the same time. Will update tomorow morning. Thanks for helping me out.
