I am also still having daily lockups on my 350 with the 22254 drivers loaded. Hauppauge really needs to fix this.

I'm about to give up on this. My mini-itx just doesn't seem to be enough. Maybe this post should be in the hardware section, feel free to move it if you want to, but what would you guys recommend if I wanted to buy a new barebone? My wishlist includes:

- *full* compatibility between the 350 and the motherboard [Image: smile.gif]
- fairly quiet (my miniitx m10000 is rather noisy, in fact, but almost acceptable...)

can I make one more wish? thanks =)
- good looking ;-)

Yes, it is painful but there is absolutely nothing I can do about it. Its in the hands of Hauppauge. These latest drivers seem to have helped a lot of people, but there are plenty of people that still experience these driver lock ups.

Is there any list of compatible motherboards?

I've never seen a formal list any where, but the question has been asked several times over at the SageTV forums, and several users have responded with their working combinations.

Update: I am cautiously optimistic that the latest PVR-350 drivers (22254) *may* have fixed the lockups that I was experiencing. Lately I've been determining whether the system was locked up or not by toggling Caps Lock on the keyboard and watching for the LED to change states. If it did not, I assumed that the system was locked up and I power-cycled. However, just this morning I noticed that for some reason, Caps Lock had no effect if the screen saver were active, so even though the LED did not change, the system was still in fact running. (Note that I was definitely experiencing lockups with the earlier drivers as in those cases I definitely confirmed that the system was indeed locked up.)

I did have one strange problem today where live TV was just static (cable was fine because I could watch from another TV), but a reboot cleared that problem.

So, I will keep an eye on it over the weekend, and hopefully this is the end of my system lockups.

I added a sigma X-Card to My PVR 350 & this works well. I had continual crashes with the PVR 350 overlay on both Sage & GBPVR
I tried the latest drivers without much more success.
apart from the 256 colour overlay limitation, I have had no crashing or other problems at all with the X-card.

Well, I was optimistic until Sunday morning. My system ran continuously and I did not experience a single lockup all weekend, until my system locked up twice in a row after exiting Live TV. And, Sunday evening, my system locked up twice, both times apparently on completion of a scheduled recording. I'm running the 22254 PVR-350 drivers and the latest GB-PVR release (0227).

This lockup problem does appear to be different than the lockups that I was experiencing previously. With the pre-22254 PVR-350 drivers, my system would lock up frequently and at random times, when the computer is idle. Now, it appears to only occur when exiting TV viewing or completing a recording.
