I actually didn't mean for you to add those urls to the plugin. They were just for you to look and see what they offered. For adding to the plugin, they will need to be converted to the API format.

Plugin is not working now....nothing happening....I see the below in the logs:

That is common in the logs and doesn't cause an issue. Can you post a full npvr.log and post or pm me your youtube.xml?

Looked at my youtube.xml file....issue was the original urls that I added and then removed via the plugin settings never got changed to what you provided....I manually updated the cusom url's to the new ones you provided and things are working again. Not sure why when I did a remove and then re-added the items via the plugin interface in npvr they did not take in the xml file.

For the NMT, exit the plugin make the changes and then restart the recording service on the server.

I'm working on having the plugin reload the settings after you modify them. It's currently not doing that and overwriting the new settings with the old one when you exit the plugin.

Try adding the "?v=2"

Unfortunately ... it just sits at the "Please wait while the list is being downloaded" prompt , sorry..

Ok, I'm going to need to add some special handling for single videos. On all other feeds, the XML structure is:

<feed>
   <entry>Video1 stuff</entry>
   <entry>Video2 stuff</entry>
</feed>

but with a single video, it does not have the <feed> tag so it was crashing the XML deserialization.

If you don't want to wait, you can place the single video in a playlist and call the playlist.

No worries, just troubleshooting really!
I can wait, the main part for me is working, the Youtube playlist feed.

Looking forward, and I must admit I haven't tried to look for it yet, but if I have a bunch of (say Music) Videos in my playlist, added as a custom playlist, can (or could) the Youtube plugin play these consecutively, or even better at random, like a "Youtube Music Video Jukebox". That would be an awesome feature down the line.

That was actually the first major new feature I planned to implement. By far the biggest use of this plugin for me is playing videos for my toddler, and I get tired of selecting a new video every couple of minutes.

The plan going forward from here is to:

1. Add a quick workaround for the single video issue.
   
2. Fix the issue where settings changes are not reflected in the plugin and are overwritten.
   
3. Start work on version 2.0 (mostly just code cleanup to prepare it to be open sourced but add one or two new features like the one mentioned above)
