Yes I had downloaded VB6 runtime files directly from Microsoft. I also have now tried this;

If you’ve installed this and are still getting errors on startup extract all the files from this zip file (Download:vb6_files.zip (1189 downloads)) to C:\Windows\System32 and then run the register_vb6.bat file.

It seemed like these files were older than what was on my computer but I installed them anyway. Still getting same error (did reboot)

Thanks - open to more suggestions

Sorry, you might have missed it , but I did not mean the VB6 runtime files. I meant the additional support files that I linked too. The activex error is complaining that a certain ocx isn't regesitered... It's in the Ztools support software

Getting a "Run-time error '9': Subscript out of range"

Was working just fine yesterday. Dunno what happened.

EDIT: Heh, nevermind. Apparently having Windows Media Center open does something to it to cause it to have problems.

YAPI2XML stopped workign for me several days ago. I had been using it without issue for about 4 months.

I tried wiping the data and resetting up, tried upgrading.. nothing works- I get that empty schedule.zip issue.. Been like this foir many days now Sad

any ideas?

my zip code is 13625 - Time-Warner Cable Watertown...

I'll test it with your codes (gonna take a while - maybe others can try too)

Be warned that Yapi is notoriously flaky sometimes

I can confirm that the same thing began happening to me on the 21st of May (ZIP 84651). I ran UpdateEPG.bat manually several times on May 30 and it finally succeeded at 1:12 pm. Since then it continues to fail to execute properly at it's regularly scheduled time (2:00 am). I have changed the update time to 1:00 pm just now in hopes for some better performance.

I have had issues with Yapi lately, and did some manual testing to see when it would work, and i have found that it is flakey, and sporatically works during different times in the day. I had to change the time my EPG is updated and it help slove the problem. I changed mine from 6am to 3pm and i have not had a problem for the last week or so. I keeping my fingers crossed. I regualy check the log file to make sure there arent any problems and then if i find its not updating, do some manual testing and then change the update time and it has always worked for me

I had the same problem about 2-3 weeks ago. It came down that it had missed two weeks worth of updating that I was down to like 2 days left on the EPG. I rebooted, manually resynced and now it's ok since. However, I don't get 14 days worth anymore, now it's 12..isn't that weird?
