Snooze Wrote:DH,

Much better. I confirm last viewed enabled or disabled is working as it should. All the queue is displayed too. Quick morning test, but I knew what I was looking for. This is great! I can see where it will help when using the remote with ALT F4 on the exit/esc button (I hit it by accident too many times and I end up leaving the app. Now it returns back to where I left off!!!) Awesome.

Now if I could figure out why when I exit the app, that my screen goes black until I hit a key (i.e. up or down arrow) when it returns to GBPVR. It is not a consistent occurrence. Hmmm...

Thanks!
Snooze

Yeah, I keep hitting esc one too many times and it is frustrating, so defintiely a great addition to the program, thanks for the idea.

I'll put out the release today.

Thanks!

Loaded 2.5.0.0, groan. Now if I exit when I was in my queue-queue order and then return, it says i returned back to the same, but the listings are alphabetical... Sad

Cycling one time through fixes it though.

Yup, I noticed the same thing, I guess I should have tested longer. Oh well, I'll fix it this weekend. Thanks for the heads up!

Apparently I forgot to turn off the alphabetical sorting of the movie list for queue order. So it was adding them in the proper order, but they were getting alphabatized. I fixed it in the new release. Let me know if you run into any other problems.

Welp... I got another suggestion. I opened the app tonight, and I am guessing it was due for an update, I have mine set for 4 days. A popup said do I want to update now, click no now but i should schedule an update soon. So I click no cuz I wanted to watch a movie, not a progress bar for an hour +. Well, it still runs this painfully long update I would have expected to occur after my EPG scheduled update tonight since I clicked NO.

Suggestion: Even though the user has, in my case 4 days, for a update, have the app ignore that 4 days for 23:59:59 so the app can do it when I am sleeping! LOL! In other words pad it so if one is accessing the app, it will not intrude on the user. What do you think?

Also, what do you think about filtering on catagories? For example, on new releases, have a filter to remove/include the keywords ... Series, TV, etc... I myself am only interested in movies, and new releases are full of tv series which really make a browse a cumbersome process.

Thanks
Snooze

Well I am hoping that was a one time glitch. It should not have performed an update if you clicked No. My computer that I develop on is constantly out of date and it never runs the update when I click no. Check it again if it happens, because it definitely shouldn't have run the update. Any chance you accidentally clicked yes?

I am with you on this one, I have been finding it anoying when scrolling through new releases almost ALL of them are TV shows and of course the highest ranked ones always seem to be TV shows. The reason I did the filter the way I currently have it is because it was easier to program. My laziness is catching up with me Smile I will definitely look at modifying the filter to be able to exclude genres as well.

Its doing it again. I figured it would have updated overnight, but it obviously did not. I clicked NO (and no I dont have a cocktail in my hand this time Big Grin ) and its trying to update again. Also getting a lot of popup errors of the 14523.

OK, it will force an update if the API reports movies in your queue that aren't in the database. So that may be happening, this has to occur otherwise your queue in the program could be wrong.

I will check and see if my updates have been working properly, but in the mean time try resetting your internet modem. The last time I had issues with my updates it was because my internet was screwy. My HTPC took a dump this week, so I have to install a new motherboard tonight, but I'll get back to you soon on this.

Nevermind! Freakin Netflix has changed their HTML format again, i need to update the database download code. The painfully long download you experienced would be my program trying to update your queue, but because Netflix changed their format it can't do it properly. I'll get an update out ASAP.
