@gomjabar, try reinstalling the latest Windows Media Player from Microsoft and I think that would solve your problem. Thanks for the compliments
@daphatty, I had disabled the recording status function of the VA Panel when I thought I was finished skinning since I don't use that part, then made more changes... whoops. I'll fix it on Sunday and post just the vapanel .xml file for download to fix that. Also, the main menu doesn't scroll like some of the other skins, the selector moves up and down. Is this what you're referring to?

I agree with all the above, it's a very nice looking skin, and well executed.
One suggestion, if you're going to work on the panels anyway. Why not make them use all the available horizontal space in the box instead of just a bit more than half?

Sticking the Music panel between the VA and the "next recording" panel. With the album art to the right side. I tried to get in myself but I'm not having much luck. Does a tool exist to skin visually? Or does it all need to be done via code? I find annoying that I have to open and close GBPVR every time I make a change. There must be a way to see chanes in real time. Love the skin. I still haven't gotten it up on my TV yet but I'm sure its going to look good.

I've looked and haven't found one yet. Closest i found was in media portal, i think. they were releasing some kind of skin editor. Moving the contents of the box around is on my list of things to do. I don't really use the next recordings panel, that's reported by the VA panel as well. I may drop the music panel in there somewhere, so i can see what's playing and what's coming up to record and the weather forecasts all at the same time.

Yeah, it was a tough decision on how to arrange the panels in that box. I wanted to make it usable and look good for folks using only the default plugins with GB but still have the room to add all the other panels.

People will of course customize to their own tastes. Out of a hundred people you'll probably get a hundred different opinions on how it should be. Go for what you like.

OK I'm in 0.95.16 now and I love it.
Buuuuut, I need my X plugins. Xrecord, Xsearch and Xguide :-( Any chance you can get them skinned? Also, is it supposed to work with the Video Archive plugin?
