Betlit,

It looks like things are working pretty well. I set up 4 red LEDs for my capture sources, a green LED for PVRX2, and an amber warning LED (this is diode 6). All the LEDs are working except for the amber. I would like it to give me warnings for hard drive space as well as epg. It lights with the utility but I never see it otherwise. I have a full hard drive (<4GB left) and I set the threshold at 5120 and it doesn't light. Any ideas? Can I make the utility use diode6 for the hard drive warning (right now diode2 is a red LED--still doesn't light).

Attached is my paraled.xml file.

sorry for answering that late, i've been rather busy over these days...

bigbus01 Wrote:I have a full hard drive (<4GB left) and I set the threshold at 5120 and it doesn't light. Any ideas?
yes... space alert is set to 'all'. this means the alert goes off when _ALL_ drives are bellow their limits.
set it to 'single' and the alert goes off if D or E reach the limit

bigbus01 Wrote:Can I make the utility use diode6 for the hard drive warning (right now diode2 is a red LED--still doesn't light).
spacealert will always light up the LED(s) defined at <diode2>.
so you can 'force it to use the 6th diode by editing your paraled.xml file:
Code:
<diode1>1</diode1>
<diode2>[B]32[/B]</diode2>
<diode3>[B]2[/B]</diode3>
<diode4>[B]4[/B]</diode4>
<diode5>[B]8[/B]</diode5>
<diode6>[B]16[/B]</diode6>
<diode7>64</diode7>
<diode8>128</diode8>
this way you'll get the following behaviour:

1st diode (green) --> gbpvr frontend check
2nd diode (amber) --> space alert and epg alert
3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th diode (red) --> tuner usage

Betlit,

Have you tried the new version (1.02.09)? Paraled doesn't light when I am recording anymore. It lights when I am running PVRX2 and also if a hard drive falls below the set limit.

nope, haven't tested it yet. i'll have a look this evening (CET).

stupid question: upgrading did not overwrite your recordingstatus.bat file?

edit: nah... there is no recordingstatus.bat file installed by default.

but it seems that recordingstatus.bat is not called anymore (AFAK it was called by the systray app and not the recording service/gbvpr/pvrx2)

as it seems, recordingstatus.bat is really not called anymore before a recording/live tv starts.

sub: could you check/confirm this (it was/is gbpvrtray.exe that made those calls, right)?

thanks a lot

Actually I had to do a new install. The upgrade didn't work. It got most of the way through the install and then backed up. I did it a couple of times and then gave up on it.

I got it working. Forgot to copy over the recordingstatus.bat. I then had to shutdown GBPVR stuff and restart recording service.

just dragging up an old thread for some questions

Ive set up the program etc and all is working ok, all leds work.

What i was wanting to do (i have 5 led's, 2 capture sources)

led 1 = blue = gbpvr on
led 2 = red = warning/recording
led 3 = green = tuner 1
led 4 = green = tuner 2
led 5 = green = tuner 3

what i want to achieve is, blinking led 2 red for space on hdd low (or similar, all flashing wouldnt be too bad either) and just constant red when recording, and still have the green led's show tuner status? is this possible?
