that's right. but plasma is a "bad" technology: a few hours of ntv, n24, bbc-ticker at the bottom of the screen and you will have a dark line in your picture. don't know how it is called in english, but we in germany call it a burnt in picture....

the bad scaling of lcd's is a well-known problem and there is no solution. the pixels are not round (plasmas and crt's have round pixels), therefore the picture seems supersharp and you see EVERY little error on the screen.

How about a silver border for the Mini-Windows, instead a blue one? I am missing too a Panel for the Weather forecast on top, or the right side... ^^

that inset won't work like this. if there is no music playing it will stay lonely at the bottom of the screen. if there is no media at all, i won't even show up, there will be this blue (or silver) border and nothing else.

so i decided to move the inset to the "sidepanel", remove the task-description from there (not enough space) and put it in the middle of the screen. so having va-panel , task-description and video-inset active, the screen will look like this:

if you download the "PM3" skin from my forum, you can use this little ipanel i made called "insetbackground" which will show nothing if the inset isnt shown, and if its is shown a image will be drawn, i use this for the inset background in that skin.

the current version there is a bug, it returns null if not shown, but thats just an error that is printed to the log, i can send you and updated one that returns a very small image and thus no longer prints to the log if you wish.

I have to chime in to and say I can't wait for this skin, it looks awesome! GBPVR on my widescreen TV will look amazing with this skin.
