zaldwaik Wrote:Dark_half, try a lookup for "Islam:the empire of faith" this is a pbs documentary. Thanks.

I suspect anything without a plot summary will have garbage for the description. At first look I do not know how to stop this. Someone that is smarter than me should be able to figure it out.

Just in case you didn't know if you can create a text file with the description you want and put it in the same directory as the move with the extension ".details" and it will import it for the description(ex. Islam the empire of faith.details). This is a work around when you have this problem.

Also with the new UI, it does the scaling to whatever resolution is being displayed. On skin.xml file does all.

reven, how about this as an offer. I'm willing to host the code for any version of my videos that you want within the CDK and XSuite project as a sub project. Licensed under any compatible Public license that Sourceforge allows on their site. So if you don't want people making profit off of your prior work, then choose the appropriate public license that you want it distributed under. The code doesn't even have to be the latest and greatest, it can be any archived version that you may still have laying around.

I'll do the management of the code, screen the contributors, etc. We've managed to keep XRecord and the XSuite of plugins going even though Jorm and Jrock became busy with the real world. So, from a person that helped you out early on, and a person that probably won't be going to the latest version of GBPVR for a long time (if ever) (i.e. non-supported hardware, etc.). I'd even be willing to have Sourceforge rename the project to include the MySuite of plugis in the name.

The offer stands. PM or contact me directly if you are interested.

Here is my quick convert. I don't know if it works or looks like ass.
I am elbows deep in other stuff right now, so if someone can check it out and let me know how it goes along, I would appreciate it.

The zip file only seems to have 4 folders in it.
keypad, my series, my videos and onscreenkeyboard.
Shouldn't it have more files?

Those are for the \Skin\Community-WS folder (a skin you may not have installed?), not the Skin2\Community.

That plugin is not able to be skinned for the New UI as it is written. (I think)

Sorry for the confusion. It is just a wide screen demonstration of the plugin in a theme changeable environment.

reven Wrote:ill give you guys a challenge, if someone makes a skin for pvrx2 that looks good (gbpvr now has the potential) and is a high res skin (oh lets say 1920x1080) i may just switch back to gbpvr, and in that case ill probably do a updated my vids plugin (got lots of code to base a version of, so wouldnt take long to get all the basics up, including internet lookups).
Unfortunately there is a bit more to it than just skinning the sucker to make it get the new high resolution stuff, but once you do it it's resolution independent, and works well on widescreen or 4x3.

It is a bit easier to write plugins these days, and can even do pretty cool fast animations if you want to. There are some samples here: http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=27703. The helloworld sample actually does buttons on the left, plus list control on the right (supporting icon/list/details/filmstrip views), so would actually be reasonable step towards what you required for the MyVids interface. If you're interested and want to know more about development under the new system, feel free to ask, or PM me.

You'll always be welcome back.

Visit the Community-WS and download Beta2. It uses your existing Community-WS for pre v1.0.8 plugins, and the new UI for v1.0.8+ plugins.

Theme changing is in the works, but right now it uses BlueMCE2 for the main menu and new stuff.
