Jeff

Yes, trying to view forecast crashes PVRX2, when comma as decimal char is used.
There is an error for weather plugin in the PVRX2 log file
I have included screenshot, text from error dialog box and pvrx2 logs in zip.

Thanks. I now see what the problem is. That line has to do with parsing the skin file. It is reading the location of the ExtendedForecastItems placement item. I bet that value has a decimal point in it in the skin you are using. I'll work on an update.

Jeff, can I make a request?

Can you use the _CoreImages folder for your bullet images?

It would make it a bit cleaner, since multiple plugins use those images.
thanks.

The only reason I didn't put them there was because sub doesn't include them in his standard and I wasn't sure if it was proper for plug-ins to put stuff into _coreimages for blue since that could junk up the file and cause conflicts if different plug-ins had the same image names but different assumptions as to the contents of that image. For a skin like the community skin, which has an expanded definition of _coreimages then I would intend to put them into that folder instead of the plug-ins own skin folder.

works for me Smile sounds perfectly logical for the blue skin
I put them in the coreimages folder for sassari anyways, I was just wondering if you planned on doing it for your release.

Note that if you have manually copied an earlier version of the weather plug-in DLL into a subdirectory under your GBPVR\plugins directory you will need to manually remove it in order to use this plug-in since the install program will not do so automatically.

Jeff

Has MSNBC weather been unavailable since the 7th or am I still finding the bug that keeps my system from working with the Weather plugin?
http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=2...stcount=19

I put PVRX2 on a week or so ago by removing the old directory totally and installing 1.016. That was running fine so after a few days I put the weather plugin in. It worked for a little but now it can never update: information unavailable/ downloading forecast. Unlike the old issue the outdated data isn't being displayed any longer at least.

I have removed the .dll and run the uninstall tool followed by a reinstall, but noticed that the config data never gets reset. I looked around but haven't found where you put that, I'd like to whack that info- where is it stored?

I don't know if the MSNBC is the problem or if I'm still lucky and always manage to break this plugin. US zip code 48198. Oh, and I'm not running Video Archive.

This waiting forever for a connect (only for Weather) might have started after a power blip and the old gbpvr not pvrx2 was run at cold boot as a startup item- could that be an issue? I've done all the uninstalls/reinstalls after this event.

I just tried that area code and it worked fine for me. I have a newer version of the plug-in so maybe something has changed. I just posted the latest version I have to http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Plugin/Weather
