Ok, finally chiming in here. Just upgraded. I'm really getting sick of losing what's on my recorded list every time I upgrade [Image: sad.gif]

Nitpick/minor bug: When I go into my TV Guide to record something, it doesn't go "red" until I exit the TV Guide and go back into it. This also means you have to exit and re-enter the TV Guide to cancel a program if you make a mistake.

Other than that, I have not tried the "double" button press on the MCE remote yet, I'll just assume it's fixed. Still nothing happening with the CH +/- on the MCE remote yet Wink

Also, the ability to select record level and padding per program = awesome, very excellent work there sub.

sub, was the ' (apostrophe) net radio cutoff bug fixed in this release or is that coming for the next release? Thanks.

I'm aware of this problem, but I havn't had time to fix it yet. Its only cosmetic, so it has not been super high on the priority list. The "record" and "cancel" happen asynchronously, so the action doesn't actually take place for a second or two - by that time the scheduled recording list has already been reloaded (reflecting the old state).

Yep, I dont think we agreed to do anything with these. CH +/- uses the up and down navigation buttons.

Yes, I think so - but I didn't get enough time listening to the radio to wait for a song with ('Wink in the name. It was a fairly simple change, so it should be alright. Let me know if you still see a problem.

No big deal about the "not turning red" issue I just wanted to bring it up.

For the CH+/- I think my suggestion was a page up/page down in the TV Guide listings, but you may want to take a poll on that, perhaps someone else will have a better suggestion.

Net radio ' problem appears to be fixed, song on it right now "Can't find my way back home" ... full title is there not truncated. Finally squashed that bug [Image: smile.gif]

Edit: spoke too soon, it's NOT fixed. Song on right now is "I don't believe in love" and it's coming up as "I Don" Dammit!

Also, is it my imagination or is GB using up a LOT more memory now than it did in previous versions?

OK done. The CH+/- on an MCE remote now does page up/page down. I'll include this with the bug fix release later today.

So far I've addressed the following issues for the release:

- Fixed an unhandled exception when setting up a capture source. This occurred when trying to auto detect if the system had a GO7007SB device attached, and was stop many users from being able to set up Zap2it etc.
- You can now specify the audio decoder and audio renderer to use for video and DVD playback.
- Fixed a bug that would sometimes stop you from returning to nornmal play speed after FF/RW in a DVD
- Fixed an error with video playback after initially using net radio. Overlay and XCard both had this problem, and have been fixed.
- Fixed a bug with the Live TV ring buffer on the PVR350.
- Fixed a bug that was causing the pre/post padding not to be applied to recording times.
- The CH+/- on an MCE remote now does page up/page down.

I'm also investigating a problem that has been reported with channel changing on MVP.

Ok cool. Sorry I keep b*tching so much but I figure you'd rather know about the problems than not [Image: smile.gif]

Did you catch my edit, and also what about the memory usage, or is that normal and I didn't notice before?

The memory doesn't seem to have increased much for me.

Good spotting on the apostrophe problem. I'd only fixed it if it was in the first song, and forgotten that it was parsed in different way for subsequent audio tracks. I've now corrected this aswell.

- Fixed error parsing song name from Shoutcast if it contained an apostrophe

Ok cool, looking forward to this maintenance release then. Maybe my machine needs a reboot for the memory problem. Thanks again for your hard work, as always it's appreciated.

Is this maintenance release going to fix that minor red bug or is that planned for a future release? Just curious.

Oh and also are we going to have to uninstall to install this version again?

Yes, you're still going to have to uninstall. Yes, I know this is a hassle.

No, the red bug wont be fixed in this release.

Hi, the download link (refering to http://www.gbpvr.com/Setup018e.exe) does not seem to work: object not found on server. Pitty, the screenshots really made me curious.
Can this be fixed?

Greetings, Ger Kersten

Its just temporarily disabled whilst I'm fixing a couple bugs that popped up in the initial release a few days ago.

The new release will be available later today.
