I'm still using GBPVR 98.13 and would like to try Yapi2xml. I downloaded it and looked at the Providers list for my zip code (95046) but didn't find a usable one.

I'm in a rural area and use a roof-top antenna for over-the-air local channels. Zap2it provided them. Will they be added sometime?

Glad its working for you now.

Yahoo doesn't provide OTA natively.

currently the best option is to use an analog provider that has the listings for all the OTA and then just select those channels. In the near future yapi2xml will include the ability to remap channels just for this reason but for now you have to remap them either manually or use a remapping programs. You may be able to map them in gbpvr to make the listings go to the correct channel. Maybe I can try to get OTA up by the 30th, i should have some time (it'll just be a remapper).

After clearing out my old EPG & making sure my directories were correct, this worked beautifully.

It is my belief that Yahoo has a problem with quite a few of the Dish Network local listings. The national ones always work but the local do and don't intermitantly. I would say try again when you think the server isn't busy and see if it works then but it is a yahoo issue.

The fix will be to mix lineups and remap channels, but those features aren't in the program yet. When they are you'll have to set it up once but then it'll probably work great.

First, let me offer a big thanks to all of you who make this stuff work. It is really appreciated.

I have had an issue with yapi2xml 1.1.9. When I run it for my area zip 80129 - comcast denver suburbs. There are a couple of duplicate numbers that come up. Channel 22, and 61. Automatically, one of each of these options is not checked. But when the .xml file is generated BOTH always show up - then GBPVR is unhappy and no listings show up. The only way I have found around this is to uncheck both occurrences of the duplicate. Then everything works great, but I lose a channel.

If I'm not making myself clear. If I have 61 BRAVO checked, and 61 LEASED ACCESS unchecked then both still appear in the .xml file causing unhappiness. If I uncheck both, then no 61 appears in the .xml file but I loose BRAVO. Not terrible, but not great.

If there is some work around I'm missing, please let me know.

Thanks again for all your hard work.

I have no idea what really changed about why it was catching duplicates and now it isn't but I agree it doesn't work. Tomorrow evening I'll have a new release for everyone which completely changes how it recognizes channels. This means it will catch all the duplicates and handle them appropriately.

So if you can hold out until tomorrow cool.

Thanks for all your efforts.
I'm running v. 1.1.9 and it loads the channels fine but the listings are 3 hours off. I have input the correct zip twice (pacific time) and get the same results.

What zip code and provider are you using?
