RSS Reader X2 - Support Thread

Good Work! Liked the plugin! Question: Does it support to cache the Feeds or do you have to be always connected to the internet?

Reason I'm asking because installed it and dowloaded all my feeds. Then disconnected the internet and tried to use it and it stated that all feeds were unavailable.

Been a while since a worked on this plugin but from memory there's no offline mode.

I was asked by a user to do a Blue-Retro-SHV skin for this plugin & while I have been testing it out I have noticed a couple of things that, for me at least, don't seem to be working right (I have also tested them using the supplied blue skin with the same results).

It doesn't seem to remember which mode it is in after exiting, closing GB & then restarting & going back into RSS Reader for me it always ends up in list mode even if I exit out with detail mode selected.

In the popup screen no buttons are highlighted until you press the down arrow then it will highlight "previous", if no arrows are pressed & you press enter it will display the next message as if "next" was hightlighted.

Thanks for that, at the moment I am strongly think of using it myself if I can find enough daily comic strips

Unfortunately on my NMT when I go out of zoom mode I am left with the old zoomed image still on screen as you can hopefully see on the photo below

That looks like an incremental update problem.

I am using Blue Retro SHV http://forums.gbpvr.com/images/smilies/wink.gif and I cannot get the channel up/down to scroll the rest of the feed text. It acts like the arrow up down button. Anything I can tweak?

I am trying to use this feed http://interglacial.com/rss/moon_phase.rss but get this error in the plugin "object reference not set to an instance of an object", any suggestions what I can do to make it work? It should give an image as well as a description of the current moon phase. Thanks!

Looking in to this now. Something about the feed the plugin doesn't like. Debuger will soon find out what...

Found a bug which caused it to crash due to the poorly formatted RSS feed. Note that it doesn't follow RSS rules for the image link, even Google Reader only shows the header and not the moon picture.

Having said that, see the attached build for a version of the plugin which doesn't crash and downloads the linked image.
