This did end up working.

For those who have tried the notification aspect to the forum, click on list subscriptions and look at the column "notification". To change the notification, you need to check the box, and then use the drop down menu called Selected threads to change the frequency of the notification or to delete it. Of course you need to subscribe to a thread first which you do from thread tools.

I do have it set to Instant. I think I may have figured out the problem. At the bottom of the e-mail it says you won't get another new e-mail until you revisit the forums. So it is possible to miss some notifications if you don't come back to the forums after every new reply. I don't personally care for this approach but I understand how it can help reduce the number of notifications sent out.

sub - Have you thought about creating a Now Playing screen for the Music Library? It'd be nice to be able to see (in a more distinct way), what is currently playing and what's in queue. Album artwork would be nice too but that may take a lot more effort. I saw the Music Library 2 plugin but I don't think I'm looking for something that fancy and it looks like it might be outdated (didn't see PVRX2 mentioned on the wiki page).

Music isnt really my focus, so I dont spend too much time in there. I virtually never listen to music myself. It should show the currently playing song though.

For artwork and queue management you'd probably need to look at plugins.

Is it possible to import files into the Recordings database? After making several recordings I changed the location of my Recorded TV directory. I moved all the shows it had recorded over the the new location but they aren't showing up in there. I can still access them through the Video Library but without the nice meta information.

MusicLibrary2 is actively developed and has a very active support forum here, but psycik has not made the UI rewrite needed for PVRX2 yet. It will still work when running PVRX2, just with the older UI look. You can give it a try and see if it suits you, if not, then delete it.

If the app sees the files referenced by recordings in the database are no longer on disk, then it assumes the user has manually deleted the files. It then deletes the metadata from the database to clean things up.

If you look at the recordings-dump.xml file in the gbpvr directory, you can update this with the new paths to your files, then use the 'import recordings' button in config app.

I have tried this in the past with moderate sucess.

If you ask the question in the general support thread, others who have dealt with this issue may spot the thread and offer advice.

When channel surfing, is there a way to keep the show details on the screen longer? They only seem to stay on there for a couple seconds. I probably wouldn't need to change this if there was a fix for the More button on my MCE remote.

This worked great. Thanks.
