Freesat - Not picking up channels

Hi all,

Dabbs many thanks for Scan Cache, I have exactly the same settings as you for More 4 but this channel refuses to work on my machine.

If I want E4 it won't play either now for this setting:

T:10729,V,22000,56~NID:32~ONID:2~TSID:2042~P:8305~V:2327~A:2328~L:eng~PMT:259~TXT:2330~PCR:2306~N:>E4

BUT if I use this it does:

T:10729,V,22000,56~NID:32~ONID:2~TSID:2042~P:8305~V:2327~A:2329~L:NAR~PMT:259~TXT:2330~PCR:2306~N:>E4 (Audio #2)

For anyone as per previous post I am still missing......

Movies4Men and Zone Thriller they're just not scanning. Anyone out there with these in their cache? I'm sure these used to get picked up before the whole Freesat thingy so I can't work out what has changed??????

Hi

BBC 1 NORTH WEST did not work for me.

I entered the channel details into my sky box and it also failed to find the channel. I thnk I need to check my dish alinement, though its strange I can can pick up other channels from astra 2d. :confused:

Please can someone post a working scan-x cache entry for ITV HD? I'm not doing well at setting it up for some reason!

Firstly Daniel sorry,

can't help you with ITV HD at the mo as this is not my priority, as far as I am aware it is still under some kind of testing, anyone? I think Dabbs had this working?

Firstly I would like to get all the Standard Def channels working......

Second and in no particular order am going back through posts:

Dabbs still many thanks for your scan but I cannot get More4, however it is found and plays within Hauppauge's WinTV with the same scan settings so will try and find out extra info elsewhere about this.

BigB, your entry for Movies4Men is surely Movies4Men2? I have this working but think we should also be able to get Movies4Men (different channel)? Zone Horror Scans but Zone Thriller is still missing, and should be part of the Freesat line up according to their official page:

Interestingly I can't see a listing for Zone Horror on their line up, so who knows?

Thirdly back to Dabbs, thanks for cache file, tried all your entries that I needed for missing channels, none would work, I wonder if this is the same problem I am having with More4........?

Do you have these working through a skybox? Maybe your dish is slightly out of alignment? I had a rusty dish slightly out of alignment and couldn't get a working Zone Thriller via a Skybox. A minor tweak up a ladder solved that (although later replaced the dish anyway).

I've still to do a rescan - will try and do one later and post my results as I have had all these channels working. Currently have both Movies4Men, but not the Zones...

Dabbs's second ITV HD post works for me - I get picture and sound. Annoyingly if I change from the BBC HD to ITV HD I get very jerky unwatchable picture, but from and SD to ITV HD it's perfectly smooth. So the settings do at least work in GBPVR.

yes have these channels working through 2 x SkyBoxes with no problem, also had new quad LNB at the start of the year so don't suspect my dish set up......

Worth ruling out! Will try and do the scan this ev to see if my details are any different to Dabbs/BigB.

You'll need an H264 Video decoder and AC3 audio codec.
If you can get BBC HD you should get this.
