OK I did have the GBPVRTSMON from the survival guide, modified June. I also downloaded it again and it is a new version modified today!

No new version has been posted. Its more likely that how you downloaded it was writing it with todays date rather than the date it was built.

But no change. Crashes happen on random transponders - there does not seem to be any pattern to it. Anyway I have noted the transponders being scanned on the last two crashes and I will upload a transport stream from both.

It might also be work trying it with the 'ignore pmt crc errors during scan' option disabled. (I'm pretty sure you currently have it ticked)

Ok with ignore pmt crc errors during scan option disabled, no crashes - Hooray!
But it has gone back to not finding many of the channels - Boo!
These are the channels found on our example 10773 transponder;

Just to reiterate, with ignoreCRC errors during scan unchecked, it never crashes now, but misses many of the channels.
With ignoreCRC errors checked, it crashes every time when a scan is attempted, but seems to find all the channels on any transponder.

Appreciate what you folks are doing to clear this.

I recently changed from MCE 2005 to using GB-PVR. Very impressed. The only "small fly in the ointment" -- is I also can't find some of the channels on the 10733 transponder. [Im using a FireDTV DVB-S]. So -- I'm watching this thread with interest

Sub please don't give up on this one - I see that I am not the only one with the crash doing a scan / scan not find all the channels problem!

It is getting closer - the new psiparser you posted earlier this thread does seem to get all the channels if ignore CRC errors is checked, but crashes on random transponders (it is random, I have tried scanning many times and it crashes on different transponders).

I have attached another set of logs including the psiprocessing log from a scan that crashed.

I also am watching this thread with interest. Last time I did a full scan I could never get it to find BBC News 24 but have manually added it... I'm using a Skystar2. If there's anything the rest of us can do to help then let us know!
