I had everything working fine using CoreAVG for HD and Nvidia for SD content. Then I got some new HD MKV movies. I had ff/rw skipping issues with them. I moved to the latest ffdshow codec and everything worked so well that I moved to ffdshow for all my SD and HD content.

When I used ffdshow for H264, pvrx2 lost focus which is very annoying. I'm sure I've done something dumb. Will have another go and will see if it skips UK HD content.

Edit: nope, didn't work. Pvrx2 still loses focus but no ffdshow icon appears which is weird and I get the same skipping issues as with CoreAVC. Oddly I cant check the graph to see what really happens as I'm now getting some graph filter SDK error and it shuts down. Cant show any graph which is weird as graphedit used to work fine.

Soccerdad, I have this same M3A78-EM motherboard for my main server, do you have a tuner card in your's? I am trying to get mine working with an ATI 650 pci-e & I am having a bear of a time. I'd love to ask you some questions about your config for that & what OS you are using.

Unfortunatly I do not have any cards in this machine as it is a client only. It is running vista home premium 64. I tried to install my old pvr-150 board, but hauppauge does not support vista 64 with a lot of ram.
