"television programs" and "set reminders for programs"-> "programmes"?
"adverts" -> "commercials" is more internationality known
"supports dvd and blu-ray disc playback. " does it!?
"Like the Hauppauge MediaMVP and Popcorn Hour" -> "Such as the Hauppauge...."
"gbpvr has a community of helpful, friendly and active members" -> "gbpvr has a active community of helpful, friendly and knowledgeable members"
"that help expand the gbpvr experience." -> "that help expand and enhance the gbpvr experience"

Cheers, I always knew the text needed another perspective.

I really should have put more effort into directly testing it in IE6. I put all this effort in and rely on the compatibility mode in IE8 Rolleyes. I've just got this:http://www.my-debugbar.com/wiki/IETester/HomePage up and running and can see what's happening - pretty drastic!

I'll work on seeing if I can iron it out.

I'm not sure what you mean here ??? sorry

Works a treat with my firefox (3.5.7) with adblocking, script blocking etc turned on.
I did notice that with ie6 that hovering over the download link blanked out the rest while hovering..

By localized I mean in the format the user expects his dates to be shown:

For example today's date:
in UK = 20/01/2010
in USA = 01/20/2010
in Korea = 10/01/20

Think about if the date was 12th January 2010, 12/01/2010 <-> 01/12/2010 !!! Also, in some countries, the date separators are dots or dashes, not slashes.

If it's hard coded then it may be best to use the name of the month to avoid confusion. Even though some countries prefer the order to be "January 20th 2010" instead of "January 20th 2010", it's a lot more obvious then a list of numbers.

Oh I see, no it's hard coded. But can be easily changed to something like 20th January 2010.

You've been infected by the code monkey virus if you understand this "joke"...

The ISO format is another one (basically the same as the Korea example)

This version of the website is up at http://www.oshinetworks.com/gbpvr

For the date issue, try http://www.oshinetworks.com/gbpvr/index2.html
The date should be formatted according to the short date setting for the viewing machine via javascript.

Amazingly! I think I've cracked the crazy IE6 display quirk with the tooltip active  As always it was the one area of the code that I had my doubts over and I thought I might get away with it. I've re-jigged the whole tooltip pop-up and I think it's fixed. I've tested this in IEtester IE6 mode and all appears to work.

So if you guys could try the new attached html+css and see if that fixes it, that would be great.

Cheers whurlston, if there is any chance you could update this with the new html+css that would be great.
