May be a few days before I get a chance to test the new patch. Currently I've just switched all recordings to DIVX instead of MPEG-2. I didn't have a happy wife today when her program didn't record, but since DIVX is working, I switched her program over to that. Anyways, either I or Hitek will let you know the results.

Thanks again.

The new DLL works great for recording in both MPEG2 and Divx, Sub, but it will not run in VMR9 mode... It gives me this error:

and I have to switch to VMR7 to get it to run. This error pops up immediately after clicking on your main executable, before it even tries to build a graph. I had modified a copy of your "restart.bat" file that replaces the current NativeUtilities.dll file with it's original version, and upon running the batch file, GB-PVR will then start without the VMR error, and run under VMR9. It only happens with the new NativeUtilities.dll..... Out of curiosity.. Does all of this stuff work just fine on the Plextor tuner?

Thanks again!

Hitek

PS.. Is the overlay guide(Ctrl-G) supposed to work in LiveTV mode, or just in Timeshift mode?

It's now giving me the error for VMR7, too.....

Bad news... Now it won't work in Overlay mode, either... As soon as I run my batch file to replace the original NativeUtilities.dll, it works again.... I don't know why it worked the first time.... Any specific log files you need?

Works reliably for me with VMR7/VMR9 and Overlay. I didnt change anything other than preferring to use the HT filters.

Yes. This is what I do my primary GO7007SB development on.

Press F1 instead. This is the new guide.

I can't avoid the VMR/overlay error, no matter what I try, short of going back to any of the previous NativeUtilities.dll, which all load just fine. Maybe a decoder error, but I have tried going back to "System Default", and it does the same thing....

This error could be related to other changes I've been making. I may have made enough changes so that NativeUtilities is no longer compatible with the other GB-PVR in v0.90.10.

You just have to wait until the next release.

I've PM'd you the password to the pre-release forum so that we can continue this testing prior to the next release.

hi,

I experience the same Problem as hitek146, so would you please continue to report your new learnings from the testing here in this thread/forum?

In addition I have a problem with the audio in Live TV. I don't get any sound. Is this known problem? Do the other TV Walker users have this problem to?

My System: WinXP Prof., Typhoon TV PVR (=TV Walker), latest Drivers from the Typhoon HP.

Thanks a lot
