The tv guide to me is the only important bit to set up recordings
Xbmc does everything else fine

So is this getting NPVR to interface with the XBMC PVR branch stuff, or is it a seperate add-on?

That demo is just an addon. I am looking for something common to test using extenders and right now the forks for XBMC PVR that run on arm extenders aren't standardized. For example the Raspbmc pvr branch and the branch that work on my Cubox are different, and davilla who has done the atv2, Android and PivosXS flavours is waiting for the XBMC PVR code to be mainline before working on this.
