toricred Wrote:There's a bug with this version NShared.dll. I have 4 x Colossus cards using an external .exe to tune the channel. With this version of the .dll file the .exe to tune doesn't get executed for the second and third tuners. I also noticed this with the previous version that Sub put out. The last version I've found that worked for all four was the one dated 10/24/12.

Just bumping this issue now that sub is back (I hope).

Yes, I'm back now. Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

Here are the log files with the 10/27 version of NShared. Note that the two recordings for CNN and HLN did not actually change channels.

What were the names of these recordings on CNN/HLN so I can find them in the logs?

One was "The Situation Room" and the other was "Evening Express" I believe. I wasn't paying much attention, but I know the ones that did change channels were "The Dan Patrick Show" and "Sportscenter".

The Dan Patrick show looks like it called your blaster:

So did evening express:

I'm not familiar with this utility, but are the ip addresses correct?

The .100 is definitely correct. I would have expected the other one to be .102, but .103 is valid for one of my tuners so it is possible. I wonder if there was a timing issue. I let the recordings run for about a minute so the change should have had plenty of time. That said, I did start the recordings in fairly rapid succession.

From a NextPVR perspective it doesn't matter if they started in rapid succession, but I don't know if your dtvTune.exe has any limitations around this?

That's interesting because it is working fine with the 10/24 version of NShared. I was hoping that would be a clue since it really limits the code that could be involved. Dtvtune is really just calling a web page on the DirecTV tuner and consuming the JSON response.

I cant see anything that was changed around this time that could have caused this.
