It is getting embarrassing that we can't fix this ... I am wondering what the ndigitalhost log will show for a recording (that works) and ends recording and is followed by a Live TV attempt (that fails). I would expect both to be in the same ndigitalhost log.
I just changed the live tv buffer to be inside the user profile - "c\user\live tv buffer" and it sill did not work. I also just set up a recording and will post logs when it is done... in about 15 minutes.

Is the recording directory also on the C: drive? If not, try moving the tv buffer to the same drive. In fact, try moving the buffer directory inside the recordings top directory.

ok. recording failed. I will load log, but screen says...."No errors, but no data delivered. This is usually because the device failed to lock a signal." It said that it was recording but showed the error when it was done.
At this point, should I just reinstall and start over? Remove all registry entry settings? I can export the channels before doing this to make it easier to put back in place.

I doubt that will help.... Are NDigitalHost.exe, Nrecord.exe and NextPVR.exe allowed through the firewall?

Windows Update will turn on the firewall, at least I know it has done that in my installations, so best to make exceptions for the mentioned .exe's in the forewall configuration
