You don't need to edit config.xml that is why I told you to disable the scan on startup.

Oh yeah - I'd forgotten this setting is exposed as a checkbox on the Settings->General page.

I turned off the startup device scan, stopped the NextPVR service and loaded the CAPTURE_SOURCE table for V6 with rows from V4. Then started the service. Devices were shown as expected so I clicked on device oid 21. That brought me to a new page with a message that no channels were defined for this device. So I clicked on Scan Channels. Got a loading message but no channels were shown. This is when I saved the log files. Seemed like the channel list could not be read.
Should I continue to use the verbose log setting? It was not set for these log files. JohnC

Did you copy the HDHR_RECORDER table as well, it should match the oids in capture source.

OK. Filled the V6 HDHR_RECORDER table with data from V4 and adding the IP for each tuner, then restarted the service. Again no channels were shown.

If the oid's match and the class in v4 was NShared.HDHomeRunRecorder then sub will have to help

You’d probably have to supply the npvr.db3 so I could check what’s wrong with it.

OK, Martin, thanks. I checked the tables again and oids match and the class is Nshared.HDHomeRunRecorder. The CAPTURE_SOURCE table shows all three tuners present and enabled.
I hope sub is not too busy.8) JohnC |
