Thanks Martin!!!

Just installing the "Locale Service" seems to have cured the the Date format problem on the LibreElec NextPVR server!

Thanks again Martin!

As a data disk I am using a 2Tb SSD formatted EXT4. You didn't say what the problem was using NTFS!

The only thing LibreElec seems to be missing is a Text Editor! However using FileZilla seems to overcome that!

I have built up around 1000 recently deleted items in Freesat(UK) EPG format on the LibreElec Server. I intend to soon tidy up the Scheduler as new items have been added to the live Windows server but not the LibreElec Server.

Once they are both using the same setup I can run them in parallel and hopefully later switch to the LibreElec server using the Freesat(UK) EPG and stop using XMLTV EPG format I have used for many years!!

If an NTFS drive is not shutdown properly you may need to attach it to Windows to fix it. Best to use a safer file system.

nano is a good text editor but if you are used to anything GUI related a console based shell won't help much.

My PC based LibreElec NextPVR server seems to be working well!  It uses three Digibit SAT>IP tuners to record TV but I would like to add a USB DVB-T2 tuner. When I plug the USB tuner in /dev/dvb/adapter0 is created but it does not show up in a list of available tuners in NextPVR!

However for many years I have been using a RPi4 running LibreElec with TVheadend installed to play Live TV using one of the Digibit SAT>IP tuners. If I plug the USB tuner into the RPi4 and open TVheadend web admin and open “DVB Inputs” tab as well as the Digibit SAT>IP tuner there is now the USB tuner listed as “/dev/dvb/adapter0 [Silicon Labs Si2168 #0]”. The same chip set is used in the Hauppauge twin DVB-T2 I also have.

TVheadend seems to install Minisatip and the DVB-T2 tuner seems to be shared but there are so many settings but my LibreElec server does not detect the tuner as a SAT>IP device!

Any suggestions to get the USB tuner recognised by the LibreElec NextPVR Server or should I go to the LibreElec forum?

Also I have found quite a problem with the Beta of the Freesat(UK) EPG I have been using. Should I post it here or in the Pre Release area?

Post a new pre-release thread. I can also make a LE package that installs the current pre-release not the obsolete beta if you want.
