Hey Jorm. any chance you can make Xrecord read the remaining size correctly on UNC paths in the next update? it works with mapped network drives, but not UNC... (the bar shows solid red/orange).
Or am I doing something noobishly wrong?

Hi Jorm,

Is there any way that the disk space remaining indication can have a manually set maximum rather than the actual drive size.

I have a large HDD and when the remaining space is less than 20GBytes I can't tell if I should be worried or not as to if my next programme will be recorded OK. What if I manually set the maximum to 20GBytes for example:
If the free space was more than 20GBytes then it would always be green. If the free space was only 10GBytes then half red, half green. This gives more of a warning indication which seems to be its purpose rather than actual numbers as shown in XRecord as well.

smeghead let me try to add that tomorrow.

As for unc paths... I am not sure if the api I am using supports it. I will investigate.

Ok I override the virus prg and installed and everything seemes fine.

I must say I love Xrecord - I have been using a previous version for three months without changing anything in my GBPVR setup and it worked very good!

After setting up Xrecord in config (movie folder) I started GBPVR - which started a installprocedure - which replaced my GBPVR.mdb with an empty file!

I have automatic backups everyday so I could just put it back again.

Anyone else who have had the same problem?

Yes...

I have had that happen to me several times. It is nothing to do with xrecord though. It has to do with install shield and some situation it gets into that it decided to repair the installation.

When it happens it backs up the mdb to some other name. Very fustrating.

I can get it to occur if I use an old shortcut to run gbpvr. It happens other times though.

the show should show up in ready if it is recording. It might be in a folder with a slightly different name maybe different by case.

But it should still be playable. You just might see 2 folders one called Smallville one called smallville

I have fixed it for the next release.

I do not see it show up not even in a differnet folder.
Would this have anything to due with compskip (I just started using it)?
