Jeff Wrote:The Video Archive plug-in does not purge the recording schedule table. The only time it removes things is if you go into pending recordings (the blue button), select a pending recording, and then select delete. If things are being purged, it is because GBPVR is removing them itself.
Well, then I have no idea what erases those recordings from the GBPVR db...
Weird. I blame it on Bill Gates! Big Grin

Hello Jorm,

Yes I would be happy to help you test the CDK suspend. I was playing around with it tonight.

Unfortunately, it does not appears to work for me. I suspended a show, it showed suspended but the show still recorded.

I tried a second show but this time I ran the postupdateepg.bat after suspending it. The show still recorded.

I am using the following versions: GBPVR v0.93.10; XRecord v.334; Guide2J v 5.0

I also have a couple of suggestions:
1. It would be great if the Scheduler list in XRecord would display which shows have been suspended (rather than having to enter the show to see resume rather than suspend). You could show the suspend shows either with the words "Suspended" or color coded.

2. Eventually it would be nice to be able to sort the Scheduler list by suspended and non-suspended shows.

On an unrelated matter, I have noticed when using XRecord Scheduler that I cannot go to a scheduled program via the priority number. I use to be able to type 30 and it would take me to the program that was priority 30. It does move me to a program, but not related to the priority number.

It suspends future recordings. It is currently not cancelling shows that are recorded.

1 and 2 make sense.

You can jump in the list only by typing the show name.

Hello Jorm.

Sorry, I do not understand. When testing I set up two new shows that were never setup before. I then suspended them before they were to record. These shows were never recorded before.

I need to look into it. I had only done the most basic tests. In the xml you should see the suspended like below indicating that it is suspended and the value is true. When the cdk run it checks for that tag is true and if it is will not record it. I will do some more testing

<Recording priority="1">
<ProgramName>The West Wing</ProgramName>
<Quality>Custom2</Quality>
<CaptureSource>1</CaptureSource>
<Suspended>True</Suspended>
<Padding>
<PrePadding>0</PrePadding>
<PostPadding>0</PostPadding>
<AdjustStartTime>2</AdjustStartTime>
<AdjustEndTime>2</AdjustEndTime>
</Padding>
</Recording>

Sub thinks that this issue might because of Xrecord. I have had this issue since I upgrade to 93.10 and Xrecord V33

When I do a quick record it works or a record by season but all my recording are setup trough xrecord scheduling to record all with out duplicates. Those will not record at all. I get a failed on every one. I thought that maybe the database was corrupted so I deleted all my pending and ran CDK to regenerate them and no luck. What can I do next? I also uninstalled v0.93.10 and installed version v0.93.10 b this did not help.

I think the issue is the recording service was not reloading the schedule when the cdk scheduler ran. You can test this theory create a cdk schedule restart the recording service. It probably will be successful.

I had talked to sub about this and asked him to add some logic allow the cdk to force a reload of the recording schedule.

I have not had time to introduce it yet.

yes, I did add an API in the current release so you can force the schedule to reload
