DH,

The more I use it... I think I like that the filtering doesnt stick on the next use. That way a person can filter per use and dont have to remember that they filtered maybe too much out last time (like I just did) Smile

I downloaded yesterday.

Help!!

LG

Hi LG,

What I need is the exception text. When you get the error with the option to continue or quit, there is also an option to copy the exception to the clip board. Copy the info in the exception window and post it here. We'll get this figured out.

Thanks,

It only sticks if you watch a movie from the filtered list and have the option to remember last watched movie. Then it will open back to the filtered list and select the movie you were watching. Otherwise it forgets the filter. I was thinking of adding a "default" filter that you could define through options, that way you could have 1-click filtering. Thoughts?

Ahhh, I always forget to check that box on new installs...

I could see that being useful!

OK - I've restarted to get the new info. It's gone farther than ever before. I did double check the "remember me" box. So that's set this time.

I'll post results - 1 hr 51 min left to go.

If the "remember me" box wasn't checked that was most likely the problem. Let me know how it comes out.

It loaded and appears to be working. I got a crash trying to view the "Surrogates" trailer, but I sent the crash dump to MS instead of capturing it (oops). 2nd attempt played the trailer. Thanks for all of the tips. I'll keep you updated.

Hey guys, I've been trying to get this app to work, but I'm having all sorts of issues. I've been trying this out on two separate computers. One using the most recent build, the other using the previous build still (I know I have to update that one), but the issues seem to be across the board. Both machines have .Net 3.5 SP1 installed (one even has .Net 4)

1. For the life of me, I can't seem to get the TX Database Build.exe to work. It starts, but then seems to just shut down. This happens on both machines.

2. I try and use TX Desktop, and it starts to build the database, gets to about 13% to 15% (500 or 3717 titles) and then just bogs down. Again this is on both machines. Funny thing is that it doesn't bog down on one specific title, but random titles...just seems when it hits 13%, it just stops.

I want this app to work, but I can't figure out why it isn't.
Attached is my log file

Here is the contents of my ini file that I set up on both machines:
Open SGID=0
Time to renew=0 *I've also tried this at a setting of 1
Default Font=14.25
Back Color=Chocolate
Fore Color=White
Update Stars=False
Last Viewed=False
Update Notification=True
Use Secondary Screen=False
Rated Viewable=True
Canadian=True

NOTE: at one point I was able to get to about 70%, then I got a .Net crash...but first things first, and I'd like to get to that point again.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
