Look back on previous page, I wrote a tutorial on the digital channels with TS Reader (post #36). Analog setup is on post #24.

I seem to be having a bit of trouble on either digital or analog. I don't think I get very good reception and that is the cause of my analog problems. With the digital channels I start up TSReader and choose the ATSC BDA Source, hit scan, and it finds exactly nothing. Everything works flawlessly in ATI's software (gasp!), and if I choose Live TV in GBPVR I get a hundred blue screens and an ear piercing whine.

Any ideas how to get TSReader to work so I can locate the channels? Is there a log file somewhere for TSReader that may be of some help?

Getting desperate

You have to choose the right driver (atscBDAsource.dll) and it should work. I had trouble with the S-Video side of the card using a cable box. I would get picture but the audio was an extremely loud static. For analog I use the internal tuner.

I don't know what else to tell you.

Vista file protection can get in the way, causing symptoms like this.

Delete the "c:\users\<your name>\appdata\local\virtualstore\program files\devnz\gbpvr.db3" file. The "appdata" directory is hidden, but there. After that, run the config app as administrator to setup your capture source. From then on, hopefully you'll be ok.

When I go into the settings for the recording source, it asks for the video capture card and I select ATI DTV Wonder Analog AV Capture card. It asks for an audio capture card and it wont let me select the same tuner for it. When i click ok it says "you can't use the same capture pin for video and audio at the same time!"

the only other options I have are line in, microphone, and spdif, but the sound is running through the same coax cable as the video
