Renamed my theme to "Advisor.Gloss"
Edited the sfx so it reads thus
Code:
;The comment below contains SFX script commands

Path=%SKINROOT%\_Theme.Gloss
Setup=.\copytheme.bat
Overwrite=1
Title=Gloss ThemePack
Text
{
The ThemePack contains all files needed to change the appearence of the Basic Skin.

Files will be extracted to the directory %SKINROOT%\_Theme.xxxx if the skin skin root variable is set by the SkinRoot program.
You can also unzip this file with WinRar to the same directory.

Many of the ThemePacks are based on images/skins that are licenced under GLP, freeware or with permission from the from the designer.
Please read the readme text file for more info about credits and permissions for this ThemePack.

User will take full responsibility for continuing installation of this package.
}
Set CallThemeName.bat thus
Code:
@Echo Off

set ThemeName=Gloss
Ran the CreateThemePack.bat, and it creates an exe called "Theme.Gloss" in the same folder as the .bat's.
The "Theme.Gloss.exe" only contains the file "CopyTheme.bat".
Do I need to rename something differently?
Do I need to move the .bat's to a different folder?
I can't seem to get the big picture of what's going on, or why I need to use "Advisor" in anything?
Total :confused:

Nope you dont need to anything, but you must put those 3 files from the zip in the Theme root (where the baseskin.xml and the preview.jpg are), then run CreateThemePack.bat.
Best Regards

hey guys I tried installing McBains newer themes manager for the basic skin and I can't seem to get it to appear in my menus. I always get the same skin and no other themes available to choose from even though I have installed a ton of themes. The Themes Manager dll is in the plugins folder what else should I be looking for here?

Did you run the skinroot.exe in the Basic skins root.
All theme that you have installed should apprear in Basic dir as names _Theme.XXXXX something.
Maybe they have been installed to the old Advisor dir.
If so, just move the _Theme directories.

Just made a Theme out of the StarGate images at MP
Really cool colors, nice animated Gifs.
Wish that GBPVR supported animated Gifs
But I haven't uploaded the Theme it.....
Should ask for permission first.
Best Regards
