I had another unexplained wakeup today. Here are the recording service logs. It almost looks like the system woke up at 4PM instead of 4AM as configured in the config app. Could scheduling some recordings and then cancelling them confuse the wake up time?

There was another post today from someone who cancelled/deleted a season-recording but the system kept waking up at the broadcasting times of that show.

I am new to GB-PVR (just installed last week). I am experiencing the same issues as others posted in this thread. I have no automated processing running.
I ran filemon 3 times on my system:
#1 filemon1min.log Recording service running and hibernate set to 1 min.
#2 filemon2min.log Recording service running and hibernate set to 2 min.
#3 filemon2min.nogbpvr No GB-PVR Tray or recording service running and hibernate set to 2 min.

Before installng GB-PVR hibernate worked fine. Logs are attached.
I hope this helps.

Sorry for being a novice, but I am not quite sure where to find the patch referred to.
Is it the, "Problems with machine waking for automated EPG Update," in the v0.99.12 survival guide thread?

Yes. It was talked about a couple of pages back.

I applied the patch, and hibernation appears to be working now.

Thanks for all of your help!

I'm glad I found this thread although is has not helped me.

WinXP home SP2 (loaded on D: rather than C: due to dual boot), GB-PVR 99.13

Before upgrading everything was fine. After upgrading, the machine would wake but would not re-hibernate. Exactly as described in this thread. I downloaded the recording service patch, unzipped it and executed it. Something happened, and then completed. 10 seconds later a dialog box appeared saying something like "windows service cannot be started from a command line or debugger...." I dismissed the box, rebooted, however, my problem has not been fixed.

Obviously the patch is not executing properly on my system. Any help?
