For artwork and queue management you'd probably need to look at plugins.

How hard would it be to draw attention to the currently playing file when viewing that directory? I'm thinking either a highlight or icon. Then for those of us that just play whole folders at a time, the folder view would double as the queue. If that's not easy, is the status line that shows the currently playing song customizeable to where a skin could at the track number or position in queue?

It already shows the currently playing file on the top right of the music library screen. You cant currently skin it to include track number or position in the queue but I'll consider it for 1.3.x

Thanks. Any ideas on my remote question earlier? Basically I'm wanting to unmap a remote key that PVRX2 seems to be handling natively. Maybe there is a config file I can edit?

Sorry, no you cant changed GB-PVRs handling of MCE remote keys. You might be able to use HIP or EventGhost or handle keystrokes and send whatever keys to the app in response to a button press on the remote.

MCE remotes that have the four colour keys can press the blue key to show the OSD.

My MCE remote doesn't have the multi color buttons so I'm out of luck there.

What is the KeyMappings folder for? I was able to go in there and comment out the lines mapping Ctrl-B to the OSD which would disable the OSD but simply changing the lines that refrence Home to map to LIVETV_OSD don't seem to affect the Home key at all.

Yeah, thats not going to affect the home key. The home key has hard coded special purposes (returning to menu etc).

Good to know. I just realized that I wasn't using the OK button for anything while watching TV. So I remapped Enter to pull up the OSD. So far that hasn't caused a problem. For example, I can still bring up the mini guide and use OK to select my new channel. Can you think of any problems with this?

I dont know if you're encounter problems with this or not. I've not tested this. OK is used for a few things though, channel number + OK, navigating TV Guide + OK etc.

hyphenistic Wrote:Thanks. I made this modification and was able to change the bitrate but not the resolution. Was this your experience as well?

No it changes the bitrate and resolution. I did a test recrding on low just to verify. Using mediainfo gives me this

Video #0 : MPEG-2 Video at 3750 Kbps
Aspect : 352 x 480 (1.333) at 29.970 fps

and my low settings are

[SETUP-Low Quality]
EncodingMode=1
VideoResolution=2
OutputType=14
BitRate=2500
AudioSampleRate=1
AudioBitrate=11
AudioOutput=0
BitRatePeak=4200
AudioCompression=11

I also verified my settings for my capture device and they are different than what I posted before. I had looked at an old post that I made and posted those settings earlier because I wasn't at home. Anyway give this a try.

[Adaptec AVC-3610]
INIT_MODE=IVAC
INIT_MSP=0
SUPPORTS_FM_RADIO=0
BLACKBIRD=0
CONEXANT=1
FILTER_CROSSBAR=Adaptec USB Crossbar
FILTER_CAPTURE=Adaptec USB Capture Device
FILTER_TV_TUNER=Adaptec USB TvTuner
FILTER_TV_AUDIO=Adaptec USB TvAudio
PIN_TVTUNER_ANALOG_VIDEO_OUT=Analog Video
PIN_TVTUNER_ANALOG_AUDIO_OUT=Analog Audio
PIN_TVAUDIO_TV_AUDIO_IN=TVAudio In
PIN_TVAUDIO_TV_AUDIO_OUT=TVAudio Out
PIN_CROSSBAR_VIDEO_TUNER_IN=Video Tuner In
PIN_CROSSBAR_AUDIO_TUNER_IN=Audio Tuner In
PIN_CROSSBAR_VIDEO_DECODER_OUT=Video Decoder Out
PIN_CROSSBAR_AUDIO_DECODER_OUT=Audio Decoder Out
PIN_CAPTURE_ANALOG_VIDEO_IN=Analog Video In
PIN_CAPTURE_ANALOG_AUDIO_IN=Analog Audio In
PIN_CAPTURE_CAPTURE_OUT=Mpeg Out
PIN_CAPTURE_PREVIEW_AUDIO_OUT=Audio Preview
PIN_WRITER_INPUT_IN=Input

If this doesn't work the only thing else I can think of is that I am running the drivers for the HP AVC-3610. I do not have the HP version but the drivers work and had the benefit of exposing the "Audio Preview Pin" that allowed FM radio to work in the older GBPVR.exe. http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=1...stcount=10

I am assuming that it's only the first 5 lines that would be affecting the resolution change. Am I right? I matched mine up with yours (didn't take the time to sync up all the PIN lines) but I still could not record at a lower resolution. I will try it again later though. I have not tried the HP driver either.
