I dont suppose any UK users have a spare machine, with sat card, that they could let me remotely connect to over a few days, to try and improve this situation before the 1.3.x release?

I don't have a spare machine, but my main mackine is idle all day while we're at work. But I'm not pointing at 28.2E i'm over at 5W.

I could get a machine together in short order, but I'd have to use the S350 card that is troublesome in it's own right. Let me know.
Edit: Just had a thought though. It may take me a day to extract the satellite card from the primary box.

tcmy95 Wrote:Has anyone got the scan.cache setting for Sky HD channels? If you look at this post they should be there (well the free ones anyway). http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=3...stcount=12 Beware that sometimes the forum inserts spaces - there shouldn't be any other than the channel name. I think Pop also upload a full scan here http://forums.gbpvr.com/attachment.php?a...1223924067

Thanks Martin for the info.
I already have these ones. It is the sports channels I am after really. I have tried pulling info and matching with lyngsat but I can't seem to get it to work. I have compared my BBC HD info with the info from Lyngsat so I can see how and what goes where but still can't seem to get sports HD channels working. below is what I worked it out to be but some values from lyngsat appear to be missing so I took the values from Movies HD1 and used them becasue they are on Astra B. Oh forgot to mention... becasue I have S350 and have to rely on other people scans I have noticed that a lot of them have multiple enties for channels. I.e. 4 sky sports 1 channels. Could it be that one of these is the HD version?

Sub I could maybe get a machine together but I also have an S350 like Martin and anyway Martin is probably the better choice any how...

Martin, if you could throw one together it'd be useful. The S350 would be fine - two bird with one stone and all that.

Right - the box is up and running, just need to throw gbpvr and survival guide patches onto it and working S350 drivers. Setup router to get machine wide open in the DNZ and make sure dyndns is up to date.
S350 has been dragged out of live system. I'll PM you with teh details when it's available. Do what you wish to it, I've made an image of what I had on it. |
