Thats the downside of using these spam detection plugins - its going to lead to the occassional user not being able to register, and posts being incorrectly marked as spam.

I think that we have sufficient moderators to catch the now-very-rare real spam post and delete it. Having it flag posts it thinks might be spam is excessive, and puts the burden on the mods to catch the errors and fix them. If you can turn off the message tagging and just keep the registration checks that would be better.

Jaggy Wrote:!@#$%^& this has been a frustrating morning for me.....

Is it just me or is the forum on a real go slow at the moment? It has just taken me 2 1/2 hours to catch up on the threads that would normally have taken less than 1/2 hour because it keeps stopping loading all the time then there will be a burst of it working as normal for 15/20 seconds then go slooooooooooooooooooow again, other sites are working fine with out any sign of going slow.

Well stuffed if I know but after more than 24 hours going like a very very very slow snail for me suddenly two or three hours ago it started working like it used to at this time of the day..............I will be happy as long as it continues this way Wink

looks like more trouble afoot... it's been real slow, and I just got some database errors. as I write this, there are over 300 guests online and only 3 real users.

in seconds it's already being hit on again..
may have to go back to manual signups again if it keeps up like this..
unless you find a way to head them off..Smile
seems like it always gets worse after an update to forums softs...
