I've just installed 5.0.1.200103

Behaviours are identical. Using the NVPR Client a DVB-T stream fails after approx 10 minutes and control returns to the Guide. When viewing via web browser there is no failure.

I finished up with a final run using the NVPR Client and have attached log files after the lastest failure.

I'm not aware of any further issues in there.

You'll need to collect some further info for me. Create a c:\temp directory.

In the registry, in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Wow6432Node\NPVR\, set the following registry settings:
LogDemux=1 (DWORD)
LogDemuxFileOps=1 (DWORD)

Restart all the software, start viewing a channel, then leave it until the problems happens, then post the regular log files, and the c:\temp\demux.txt and c:\temp\file.txt logs

Afterwards, make sure you remove those registry settings, otherwise they'll fill your hard disk with big logs.

C:\temp created and registry updated.

V5.0.1 (200103) client view of channel fails as usual after ten or so minutes. Temp directory contains log files.

All logs attached.

Thanks for your assistance with this.

There are startup up issues, do you start the server and NextPVR.exe on boot? If not you are starting NextPVR.exe too early for your manual testing.

Also what is the date of

C:\Program Files\NPVR\client\NPVRTSReader5.ax

Thanks for your message.

I have both V4 and V5 installed, with V5 using port 8867. After startup I see NextPVR Service and NPVR Recording service in the services list. I stop the existing (V4?) NPVR Device Status by selecting exit.

When I start the V5 server I see errors.

Is this sequence incorrect and is it the cause of my problems?

C:\Program Files\NPVR\client\NPVRTSReader5.ax has date 16/01/2020 18:32

The error on the server is ok, it just means the v4 server is alos running. The error on NextPVR is the issue you started it before the server was ready.

That date must be the access date, I would delete the file and reinstall to see if the issue continues.

As per your advice I stopped the existing (V4) NPVR Device Status by selecting exit. (Is this step necessary?) Then I started "C:\Program Files\NPVR\NextPVRServer.exe" and waited for a minute or so. Next I started the V5 client and repeated the test.

Test failed as before. Logs are attached. For some reason Demux.zip will not attach so I'll try and add this in the follwoing post.

I am unable to attach Demux.zip. Have I reached some sort of limit?

Success. Demux.zip split into two files and now attached.
