Sorry to bump the thread.
I assume to edit the EPG colours in the guide.html for NextPVR we need to go to:
C:\Users\Public\NPVR-data\npvr.db3
And then:
EPG_GENRE
oid, name, epg_color
And EPG colours here define the colour in the guide.html interface?
I also have:
Interface Settings - Show genre colors in guide
is ticked/turned on
Currently all my guide is just shades of mushy purples and blues and browns, and frustratingly loads of things that are films appear the same as things like TV series etc... so to quickly look for films to record is a pain (yes I know about search too, but that repeats entries hundreds of times for the whole EPG).
It'd be handy to just have films show up as bright green, and in my selected channel list of good channels to record films, I can scan through the week ahead in a few minutes.
I've made edits to the db3 file.
1, movie, 22FF9933...
...for example, but no movies are showing up in a different colour to usual. I'm not sure if I have to restart the server for this to take effect? I refreshed the EPG just to trigger a database update (assumed), but the colour value remains as set, but the EPG doesn't look any different.
Indeed, the EPG is currently full of coloured (just dully/mushy) entries, but the db3 file is set to all 00000000 for epg_color values.
Can someone please clarify if it's possible to set the EPG colour based on genre?
Many thanks
