Did you have any special trouble during installation?
I am having trouble getting the card recognized, and when it is recognized, GBPVR claims that the drivers for ATI 550 are not installed...
Any ideas?

I just looked in my Device Manager, and there are no devices with the yellow exclamation mark.
I checked and instead of "ATI AVStream Analog Capture" I have:
"ATI Unified AVStream Driver"
What's that mean?

My card is a TUL Theater550, I visually checked, it certainly has the Theater550 chip.

I then went into the driver disk, looked at the .inf file, and found an interesting section:

What devices do you have in your machine? Is it just the TUL Theater550?

I suspect you've just got the device number wrong. If its the only ATI 550 type card, then it should device #1.

No, I also have a Hauppauge WinTV PVR350, which is still working in GB-PVR just fine.

OK, then your TUL Theater550 needs to set to device #1. The logs above show it is set to device #2. You only need to increase the device number if you've got multiple cards using the same drivers.

Silly me. That fixed it. Thanks Sub.

However, the quality is awful. I tried switching cables with the cable going into the hauppauge, and the quality increased a bit, but it's still very bad quality, and from seeing how the subtitles get cut, I am pretty sure the resolution of capture is NTSC instead of PAL. I will try that "Force" thingy.
The Hauppauge seems to give decent quality, though.

After forcing the standard to 16, the quality improved quite a bit.
Still, I believe I have a serious issue with RFI on the antenna cables.
I plan to make my own cable from high-quality cable and soldering the connectors.
Can anyone recommend dimensions for a 1-to-3 splitter? I want to take the cable from the wall and split it to 3 devices. Maybe I need a special dongle for this?
Maybe there is a better way?
