jorm Wrote:I think the issue is the recording service was not reloading the schedule when the cdk scheduler ran. You can test this theory create a cdk schedule restart the recording service. It probably will be successful.

I had talked to sub about this and asked him to add some logic allow the cdk to force a reload of the recording schedule.

I have not had time to introduce it yet.

I went into guide2j and created a advanced recording. I then ran CDK from Xrecord and restarted the computer. The show that I set up failed to record. When I go into xrecord it showed under ready and has big red leatters FAIL. Is there any thing else I can try?

Jorm,

Sean's problem appears to be similar to my problem where a show was showing up to be recorded but still not recording (even after the postupdateEPG batch was run. Did you have a chance to look the the logs I emailed to you last week?
Regarding the suspend issue, the <Suspended>True</Suspended> was in the .xml file. but the show still recorded.

I do not know what the ca.g() call is. Sorry richard I havent had the time to look into the suspend issue. I was going to try to introduce a private cdk scheduler today that would call the reload in the recording service.

That should hopefully fix the failed recordings.

A while back you said you had a modified xexport you were going to send to soemone. Any chance of trying that? I have never gotten it to work right, and just do a manual export every day or two now.
