It seems this pluin is abandoned, either the author is too busy, lost interest or is working on a new awsome plugin that will be released somtime in the second half of the near future

Can't blame whurlston, youtube keeps changing the api so Google can monetize YT. It does still work via the web client plugin for Kodi.

Installed the plugin, when opening I get ‘could not contact the signature decoding updater’. And when I click on any of the menus NextPVR crashes.

Hi whurlston, glad to see you back. It seems that within the last month YT did yet another API change and v3 is causing lots of grief, this does seem like a difficult add on to maintain.
