If I manage to finish Fastfind, and at least the scheduling engine of Xrecord (which is used by Xguide when you click on the "Advanced" button, *sigh*), I'll post the files.

I also have to test all that on the MVP... I wouldn't be surprised if I find a funky bug there...

Nicely done!. Your skinning has come out very similar to what I've done here for me. I also re-did the main menu. Added the music panel but on the lower portion so you could see what was playing when visualizations were on. I also increased the fonts a bit for the MVP and made the panels longer to use all the available space.

Good idea... Didn't think about the vizualizations, since I turned them off.

I'm hoping next week or after Christmas I might have some time to continue working on the skin. Nightwalker, I had a chance to look at your screenshots... I'll get the homeseer and other stuff you skinned incorporated, it looks good. IMO, I don't like the button-look put on the menus like recordings, video library, etc...I think it is just too much gradient and it doesn't belong on each menu choice.

So when I get time... I'll continue working on the skin and adding in your work.

I do it that way here so my wife knows exactly what she can and can't select. she's my test board, if she can use it, without instruction then i consider things a success. Guess that's why there is vanilla and chocolate, everybody has a different point of view.

As i said, take and use what you want or need discard the rest.

Hey Nightwalker, how did you get the MusicPanel to display the album art ????

The music panel always shows cover art as long as it's in there, folder.jpg or i think default.jpg works too. Maybe you have it adjusted off screen somehow?

Doesn't show it for me... What variable name did you use to display the album art?
